About EMC Local

EMC Local is an independent business directory for New Caney and Splendora, Texas - the East Montgomery County area. We built it because most of the truly local, independently owned businesses around here don't show up well on the big national directory sites, and we wanted one place where neighbors can actually find them.

What We Do

We list real, verifiable local businesses across home services, automotive, health and wellness, food and hospitality, professional services, and family and personal services. Every listing starts as a free, publicly researched entry - business owners can then claim their own listing to verify it, take over editing, and unlock a "Verified" badge.

Why It's Free to Get Listed

Getting listed and claiming your business is free. We offer optional paid upgrades for businesses that want extra visibility, but a free listing is never blocked or hidden behind a paywall.

Accuracy

Unclaimed listings are compiled from public sources and may go out of date. If you're the owner of a listing and something's wrong, the fastest fix is to claim it - once verified, you have full control over your own listing's details.
